i bought the set of plastic tools. i thought the blue one fit the best but after about 30 mins of struggling with it i was ready to give up. then i decided to try the next larger size (the grey one) and it came off in a couple of seconds. the stuff that blew out of my old filter was like mud. it had probably never been changed in 130K. nasty...
