Cant get the last two spark plugs out

I m changing the plugs on my 98 eb and i cant get the back two out and really cant figure out any way to get a socket on them. Can some one that has done this help me out this is my first time changing the plugs and its a PITA. also its the SOHC 4.0 V6 if that helps.

Have you taken off your wheels? Seems to be the way to get at them with the SOHC V6. Put your truck on stands and get at the plugs through the wheel wells.
 






Tried the wheel well and they are slanted up and back and there is a some kind of stupid hard line in the way i think it runs to the ac but not sure this is just a really poor design flaw

So I hear/have read. I don't have the SOHC anymore. The 5.0 V8 in my current ride is a piece of cake to get at the plugs without taking the wheels off. I never tackled my plugs on my old truck.

There should be plenty of threads in the archives that address your problem. It's a well documented annoyance.
