Ok guys, i need to find some GOOD snow tires for my accord. They well only be used when i go sking. I have to buy some tires for my car now and i want to go ahead and buy some snow tires for the front. I don't want to go the chain route, or studed tires. I didn't think the make a AT tire in such a small size.(195/60/14) I have no idea who makes them, nor what a good brand is for them. If anyone can help me out, please do.

Nokia

Best snow tires in the world, bar none....studded is better, but even without, they grab. Far superior to the Blizzaks or Graspics, IMHO.

Nokian Hakkapeliitta 1

BTW, you need 4. 2 will get you killed.... LATERAL traction is what is most important, to prevent sliding into a guardrail or ditch. 2 snows in front will help you go, but the back end will let go first on the curves. Not good.

Sundown is right. Get a complete set of 4 snow tires so you'll be covered at all corners. Don't know about Nokia tires but Car-N-Driver magazine puts Blizzaks in their test cars (911, A4, 330, IS300, etc.) for some winter testing and driving and was very pleased with the performance.
