Hello I'm trying to remove my rear cargonet/ box on passenger side 91 Explorer Sport; need to change the net and holder which I have new as origionals are broken when I bought truck. I can't figure out how they are installed I try to pry with screw drivers but doesn't work some kind of weard clip system. If you know how or have resources please help pictures would be exceptionally appreciated but instructions are good also Thank you!! :p::salute:

You need to remove the entire rear trim piece to do it correctly and not break the clips.

Remove the sill plate trim piece that runs along the back of the cargo compartment above the carpet by the tailgate.

Pull the carpet back and remove the screws holding it to the floor.

Pop the push-in retainers out holding it to the wall and around the window by pushing a large screwdriver behind the trim and pushing them out, or with a trim puller if you have one.

If you want, you can remove the seat belt if you want to remove the entire thing, but you may not need to remove that.

Once free, pull the trim away, and there are pieces of plastic from the net surround that poke through the large trim piece and have retainer clips on them. When you have the trim pulled away and see back there, you'll figure it out once you see it.

Good luck! :)
