cargo cover question

i bought a cargo cover from ebay for my wifes 1999 xlt 4dr. when it arrived, i installed it only to find out it was about an inch or two short. i tried it in mine and hers and it was too short. mine fits both of ours fine. so my question is...why is it too short. it was listed as fitting a 95-01. could it have been from a 2dr sport? is the cargo area smaller in a sport?

Betcha' it is for a sport. If you want I can mesure my cover and let you know how long it is.

my sport one fit the 4 doors as well.
i could extend it 10" past what i needed (the 4dr is 10" larger cargo area). dunno... maybe you got a bad one.
i wouldn't think they would make two sizes for that small of a difference. that would require two different programs to cut the fabric which would likely be more cost than the extra 10" of fabric. what was i saying... i'm off on a tangent now

thanks, must have been a defect, but i pull it all the way out, to where you can see the metal and not just material and it is about an inch short. i would prefer some slack anyway so i can cover large thinkgs.
