I got the brilliant idea at work today that maybe the padding used underneath carpets could be used to "insulate" the panels. I used the peel and seal method on my last Explorer. Although it did help, I didn't get the solid sound shutting the doors as I wanted.
Doing this in the rear section in the cargo area will be a no brainer. But my question is, how much water is taken in inside the doors. I could see that getting messy if there was water inside there.
