Just got a custom cat back 2.25" exhaust w/ a 40 series Flowmaster. Sounds fantastic, and only cost 250! I'm so glad I did it. For any one in the North NJ/Morris county area I got it done at E&L Auto/4x4 in Lake Parsippany. Steve was fantastic and very informative. Said that any thing bigger than 2.25 would be a waste, maybe 2.5 w/ headers and bigger MAS/throttle body. But man am I happy. Quiet idle (not much more than stock), but what a great sound when ya get on it. A friend (whose used to his 383 powered Z-28) said it sounded really cool. Steve from E&L said it sounded better than a similar job he did on a full size V8 powered Chevy! Well, that's enough rambling. Can ya tell I'm happy?!?

sounds good

sounds good. now are you ready for the gas milage to drop. like all of us we like to hear it and we step on it to do so. just in time for the high gas prices. ha ha Glad you like it though. Later

Yeah, I was getting a few less MPG for a month or so after putting on the Flowmaster. Now I'm wantin' a Superchip, but we just got another gas price increase today, and havin' to move up to premium is really buggin' me. Damn...just a few weeks ago they were saying no more increases in gas prices this year probably, and here we see another one in just two weeks. Ah well, JWREZZ, at least you got some great sounds to groove on!!!!!

Hey jwrezz I live in Morristown. I will have to check out E&L Auto/4x4. I have been looking for a good shop. I just put a Borla cat-back on my 94. It sounds great. I think it might improve my MPG by a little. I am still on my first tank of gas with the new exhaust. But it seems to be a little better.
