CB Mounting 2004 Adrenaline

My radio is actually a 10 meter radio. I can talk to a neighboring state on this bad boy, imma never sell it! But I could buy an ol cobra junker radio and mount it under my seat and use it just for a PA. Radios are cheap anywhere for ones that is just a CB/ PA. the good stuff is pretty pricey tho. Mine was a couple hundred, but I wanted something I could talk to our base station at home with from a ways away. Having HAM channels is nice too cuz I can get on emergency broadcast channels

CB's are nice. I use to have and talk on them all the time, but then I studied and got a ham license and got one of these. (see pic below) its a whole new world no rift raft no noise and the person I am talking to sounds like they are in the cab with me. LOL

You don't really need a license these days... HAM radio operators are a dying breed. I have 1-10 Ham channels and every CB channel on my radio and havent had the FCC raid my house for not having a ham license yet and I've had it since I've had my trac. How far does that little bitty radio talk?

That's just the face remote mounted. The main unit is located elsewhere. I am able to talk 40 miles depending on the terrain . With a repeater I am able to talk 100+ miles.

You should get a midnight special pocket amp then you could talk across states! Haha. I have a 250w amp for it but don't have it hooked up cuz there is already to much draw from my audio set up
