CD changer Question

I have a 1997 X and the six disk cd changer is not reading that i have any discs in it..

It reads over and over no cd and i have tried switching the direction of the discs and all.

If anyone has any suggestions at all please let me know!

2. Double check internals
3. Try everything again afterwards

and if those two dont work...

I'm sorry to bump up an old thread, but can anyone tell me how to remove the 6 disc cd changer from the armrest/console? Not just the cd cartridge but the entire unit itself. I got a coin stuck inside and I've gotta tear the thing apart to get it out.
