I took my factory hu out of my 2002 Explorer and I forgot to take out the cd first  Is there any way to pop out the cd with the hu out of the vehicle? There doesn't seem to be any pin hole on the front of it to pop it out manually.

connect it to a power source and hit eject

Any idea's how to connect it to a power source without ripping my dash a part again?

Hook the switched & + power from the HU to a car battery.

either take it to something like best buy and see if they'll do it, go buy a reverse harness and plug it in then connect it to the battery, or rip apart the dash again

what does it take 5 minutes to get the radio out. at least on my 2002 it does.

....yeah, what he ^ said...

The time and energy it took to type the question, and come back to see if anyone replied, you could have already had the CD out of there!

There are no wires coming off the back of the radio. Oh well I'll just it in there because it takes a little longer then five minutes to disconnect the battery and tear the dash apart and then tuck all the wires back in and reprogram the new radio. No biggie, thanks guys.

1) don't bother disconnecting the battery
2) if you DIN mounted the new radio, it should only take about 5 seconds (literally) to remove it

or you you could go with the 1st or 2nd choices i gave you yesterday, then again you could just say screw it
