Cd player does on like speakers

About a month ago I noticed that when I use the cd changer the right front speaker seems to be cutting in and out. I have a factory head unit and got a mint condition cd changer about 15 months ago. Before you answer I have this to share as well. When I have the radio on there is never a problem with anything. Any ideas where to start?

This is a common problem, and therefore may not have anything to do with the CD changer so much. Someone found that the cord bundle ran behind the rear where the temperature guages are, and when too close, would rub into the wiring. You might wanna check that and see if it's grounding.

Now what

Last night I took out the head unit, checked the wires, stuck out my tongue, put everything back together and nothing. I have the same problem as before. Anyone else have any other suggestions as to what it might be, or possibly how I can at least find what is causing the problem. I really dont want to have to get it looked at if I dont have to but that is what it might come down to.
