I've searched the net and couldn't find any tips at all for installing a ceiling mount LCD panel in a 2005 Eddie Bauer explorer with sunroof. I want to mount it just behind the sunroof, so it's as forward as possible.

Any trial and error that you all can save me would be greatly appreciated. Questions I've got so far:

What's the best way to route wires up to the ceiling? Up the front by the windshield, or the side between the doors?

I have the sunroof with the sliding panel that covers the glass. I'm concerned that will get in the way of my mounts because the LCD will be mounted right on the part where the panel slides into. I believe there's a metal piece that goes below the sliding panel that I can mount to. I hope. lol

Is there an easy way to remove the sliding panel from the sunroof (not the glass but just the sliding upholstered panel) for easier access to install the LCD?

Any tips in general would be appreciated. I've already got my Pioneer double-din DVD player installed, and now I just need the ceiling monitor and I'll be good to go. I'm afraid mounting the LCD will be a whole lot more trouble than installing the radio (which was a breeze).

(edit) Wow, I need to update my profile. I haven't had that 1997 Explorer for 7 years now!!
