Center Console Airbag light and rear bucket seat positions

Has anyone noticed that when the rear bucket seats are in the "folded upright" position in an MY17, that the airbag lights comes on and stays on?

When I noticed it on this week I used Forscan to see that there was a code being set by the rear passenger seat airbag (seat was up.) I folded the seat and the light went away.

is this normal?

There is an airbag light on the center console? When you mention rear seats I'm guessing you are referring to the 2nd row seats. If so, my 2nd row seats are always in the upright position and there is no airbag light that comes on. I suspect that you may have a wiring issue.
