Center Console Interchangeability

I would like to swap out my current center console with the two cup holders and small compartment with one that extends all the way to the dash.

Has anyone done this and if so, is it very hard? I am planning to go to a pick and pull to look for one, but want to know if it is difficult to do first.

When you pick up your full length console, be sure to get the two bolts and cage nuts that secure the front of the console to the lower part of the dash board. Also, there is some ducting that connects the a/c vents on the full length console to the ducting from the lower part of the dash, you might want to pick that up too. Additionally, you may want to remove as much of the front bulk head wiring harness as possible in case you want to connect the radio features on the full length console, I am not sure if vehicles not equipped with the optional console already have the wiring in place or not. Dont forget to collect all the fasteners needed to secure your full length console (two bolts in front and two in the rear).

there is a anchor bracket at the back side of the console that is on the floor you will need as well
