I need to run some wires into my center console [XLT w/ climate control in rear] I'm hoping there is just a way I can feed the wires in through the side w/o taking out the entire piece. Is this possible?

Also, being that I'm in the Northeast and its usually an average of 25 degrees outside, I was wondering if someone could post removal instructions so I can go right in and attack the project, rather than freeze my butt off in the process. I figure I might just have to loose it up a bit so I can slide the wires under.

Thanks.

The console top pieces are held in with clips. Just grab the bins and pull up. The tissue dispenser comes out the same way just pull up & out toward the front.

Yup, to actually run wires into the console you'll need to disassemble the top. Just like Bill said, it's very easy. First pull out the coin holder and tissue dispenser. Then pull out the 2 pockets in front under the A/C. Then pull out the ashtray. After that you just need to pull up the large piece that's left. Be careful as the ashtray lamp is clipped to it.
