I just got my 92 Explorer about two weeks ago. After hearing a squealing noise I noticed the brakes need to be changed. I saw through the rims that one of the rotors is messed up from the depleted brake pad. I've changed the brakes on my 92 Mustang and it was simple. I'm guessing it's a little different on the X because it's a 4X4. Is it any more difficult because of the 4X4? I went to Pep Boys but they didn't have the Haynes manual in stock. Does anybody have any pointers or know of any online technical articles on changing the brakes and rotors?
