Changing plug wires on v6 now help! Tip?

I've got most of them done but the smallest wire on the drivers side when I push the plug wire on the plug it doesn't seem to seat in the wire the and plug just easily pulls out. First time doing wires and I'm in the garage now and need to drive in a few hrs so any tips on how to get that to seat correctly would be appreciate in a quick reply!!

The wire boot end should just pop on the tip of the spark plug. There is a round clip inside the wire boot end that snaps over the tip of the spark plug. Make sure you line up the wire boot "straight" when pushing it down on the plug tip. You should feel a small pop thru your fingers when it seats properly. Being your first time doing plug wires, did you apply "die electric grease" inside the wire boot ends before connecting them up to the plugs and coil pack? If you haven't, you should. The grease helps keep moisture out.

Yeah i did the grease. That one spark plug wire would not seat properly like the rest and would just pull of if i gently tugged on it. I decided to give it a try driving anyways because the truck ran fine. The first few 25 mile trips to work I popped the hood and pushed it back on as far as it would go now I have about 500 miles on them and the plug wire must of attached itself better because of the heat of the engine and although i am not going to yank on it it doesnt just slide off anymore like it used to. The truck runs and drives 100% better and went from 14mpg highway to 17.5mpg highway!!

Now to figure out why my truck shakes at 60-70 mph ONLY when it is under 60 degrees outside... 60+ is like driving on a cloud. Figure that out?

Just throwing this out there.
Does it go away after highway driving when the temp is below 60?
Tires/ tire pressure. Air does expand when it is hot. Possible flat spot in tire.

Only thing I can think of that air temp would affect.

If the new plug wire comes off on you again, put the old one back on temporarily and take the new problem wire back to the parts supplier you bought the wire set from with your purchase receipt and ask them to swap out the bad wire from another new wire set in the store. Phone ahead first to be sure. They will just send the damaged wire/set back to their supplier for replacement. Wire sets usually come with a guarantee. BTW, if that plug wire wasn't connected properly to the spark plug tip, you would know it. You would be running on 5 cylinders instead of 6 (running rough) or you would hear a loud ticking sound from an arcing spark.
