How do I get the passanger side plugs out of my 98 4.0 SOHC X. There seems to be no room to remove the plugs. Any info/tips will be helpful.

I tried searching the archives and came up with nothing. Maybe I am not using the right key words.

well like i said i dont remember the answer to this but i know on mine i can get to them from the wheel well. if that helps at all.

I might add...tape your nuckles, cuz you are bound to lose about 4 of them on the headers, etc.

You can get them all if you remove the tire and the fender skirt, but it still is a chore. take your time and a few deep breaths....

i use a universal joint and an extension from underneath , no problem

Thanks for all the tips. I guess there is no easy way. I plan on changing the pass side tomorrow. Let you know how it goes.

forget this crap when i do my plugs, i'm buying some good plugs and taking them to a local shop, they will do it for me for a nice cost of about 40 bucks
