I've got a bad leak in the return line for the power steering, just before the cooler. I was able to get a new line (the fitted pipe with the rubber end attached) but I don't see any way to get the pipe disconnected from the rack.
I have a set of crow-foot wrenches (or whatever they're called) but there's not enough room anywhere to get the wrench on and be able to turn it. I've drained the radiator and removed the hose for a little more room, but still, I'm not even close.
I'm thinking that since the leak seems to be in the rubber hose portion that maybe I could just cut the pipe and run a longer hose, with some clamps. Would this work?
Thanks,
Blue
