changing the radiator fluid?

How do u know when to change it , Should i get the fluid flush cuz the winter is creeping up pretty fast? i never changed it and i had the truck since may... or should i just add some water? thats what people tell me

There are these test things at Autozone or any other auto parts store that will tell you when your radiator fluid is bad. There like $10.

i'd say just go for it and change it. it's easy and cheap to do it yourself.

If you are just going to add, add a 50/50 mixture of coolant and water. You will just dilude that fluid if you JUST add water.
