charging my deep cycle

I have a camper that I pull with my "x". I want to charge my deep cycle on the camper while my engine is running and I'm hooked up to the camper. How can I go about this. Do I need a battery Isolator, or can I just run a positve line from my "X" out to the deep cycle? I need to figure this out. its buggin' me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are wanting to charge the battery while you are towing the camper all you need to do is run a hot wire (10 guage wire) to the trailer connector. If you are running a 5 or 6 pin connector follow the manufacturers wireing diagram and wire the chagring wire in to the connector. Then do the same from the trailer's connector to the battery.
