Cheap appearance upgrade… Wheel Skins

Ordered a set of wheel skins for my 2020 XLT and couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Although initially I didn’t like how the outer edge of the rim still showed (pictures 3 & 4) I ended up taking them off and applying some heavy duty electrical tape around the outside of the rim and that has resolved it.

For $125 all in, I’m very happy with the result. (Although it looks like they raised the price $5/ea since I ordered.)

Thanks… and yeah, will do. I’m curious about the electrical tape, but not the skins. Plenty of people on Reddit have used them with hardly any issues reported.

How are they holding up? I'm just now looking into this upgrade. I was wondering how the black electrical held up. if I didn't I might consider nail polish cause I think I would chip off if I ever decide to go stock for some reason.

They were still great when I traded it in a year later.
