check engine light on wife's truck...

okay, the check engine light has been coming on and the explorer has been bogging. it's a 97 xlt 4wd ohv.
we took it to autozone and they told us it was running to lean/rich? and the o2 sensors were bad.
I've read on here that I could clean the filitments of the MAF and that might be the culprit???

Also, i would like to replace the airfilter... and the last one i bought didn't fit correctly. if anyone knows the exact part number for or dimesions I'd appreciate it.
*** last time i bought one i had to hacksaw a plastic nipple off the end :shrug: maybe that's normal???

Both my thruck and the wife through that code every once in a while. It's almost always in the morning when it's cold after I drive it for a mile or so. I just reset it and go on with my life
