I did do a search but found way too many threads....

OK, my CEL comes on and off intermitently. At the same time as it is on, If my foot is not on the gas and I am stopped, the RPMs drop to around 500 and sometimes stalls. If I am at highway speeds and gun it (WOT) when the light is on, it sometimes wont downshift on its own, into a lower gear for acceleration, and requires manual shifting for pickup..

It has a new O2 sensor. Is it time to clean the MAF or should I look at something else? I Have 105K+ miles on her. :frustrate

Just about any time the CEL comes on while you're driving, it indicates that the computer has detected a problem somewhere. Even if the light goes back off, the computer "remembers" what caused it to turn on the CEL in the form of a trouble code. Now, you need to go "ask" the computer what problem it saw. Either have someone pull the trouble codes for you, or do it yourself. Then you'll know what kind of problem the computer is seeing, and that will point you in the direction you need to go to fix it.
