Hey guys i have a 98 ford explorer limited....5.0 L v8...recently my check engine light has turned on and i scanned my obdII and got a p0112 code which ment my iat sensor (intake air temperature ) was gettin a low circuit...so i bought a new one and replaced it and reseted the codes...light comes back on and i get the same code... i bring it to a mechanic and he tells me there must be a short in the wire somewhere along the way...does anyone know of somewhere that i can get a wiring schematic so i can trace the wire back myself and find the problem? or do u think theres other possibilites or problems? please HELP!!!

I'm posting the schematic for a 97 5.0. The 98 schematic should be similar. The signal goes directly to the PCM from the IAT (ckt 743) . It gets voltage from Ckt 359 which I believe is VPWR. I am also attaching the first few steps for troubleshooting code P0112. They recommend testing the voltage at the TP (throttle position sensor) which also uses VPWR. The voltage should be between 4 to 6 volts.
