i have a 00' explorer sport xlt and My check engine light is on....when i scanned it it said too lean....someone told me it is one of the sensors....if so considering there are three how can i tell which one it is and is it even the sensors? And if it is the sensors is it hard to get to in order to do it myself?

there are tons of sensors in your truck... can you post what the code number was? it sounds liek you are thinking o2 sensors as there are several of those.... but your description is to vague for interpretation
 






Please post the actual codes you get. That will help these guys pinpoin which circuit its in (hopefully).
 






check your inlet manifold gaskets are secure before going out and buying new sensors!!!! i had my 98 4.0 sohc back to my dealer 4 times in month with the same problem? they kept resetting it and "hey presto" within 40 miles the light was back on! it was only until they changed the left hand bank inlet manifold gasket that the prob was cured! its been excellent ever since! hope this helps?

check your vacuum lines that control the fuel solenoids
