Check Engine Light

I have just completed a minor systems overhall. I replaced the valve cover and intake manifold gaskets, converted the AC system to 134a, changed the heated oxygen sensor, installed Bosch plugs, new wires, new power steering pump and installed a KKM induction unit.
For some reason when I get into the throttle the check engine light comes on. The light go's out if the engine is not under a load.
I have tried resetting the ignition control
On a recent 500 mile trip I started running premium fuel and this seemed to improve the situation. The vehicle runs great otherwise.
I am suspecting the O2 sensor as the culprit.
Any Ideas

Did you reset the computer by disconnecting the battery after you had finished all that work? If not, try it and see if the situation persists. Also, I wouldn't use higher octane gas for too long.

I had the battery out until I finished the work.

Other then running out of money buying high octane fuel, what is your warning about?

The engine is designed for 87. You will end up spending lots of money to carbon up your engine faster. If you use 93 to get rid of pinging/knocking, you should try cleaning your Mass Air Sensor. See Dead Link Removed for tips on how to do it.

I understand what you are saying.
I am going to clean the MAS and see if that will do
anything. Seems to be very intermitant for the light to
come on now.
