this is true for any 3rd gen explorer actually. I ran my ac for 20 min. Worked on my explorer all day having up it up in the air on a lift. It didn't stop dripping from the drain until 6 hours after I put it on lift... And during that time the transmission harness was soaked in water...
 






Yeah. I don't think I can edit the post to remove the SOHC part. I thought it might apply to all 3rd gen's, this should be corrected and stickied IMO. I used an old coolant hose and temporarily modified it until I find something better. Not picture worthy and definitely not beter than the TSB fix. I think re routing to an ideal location and doing the recommended TSB repair, would be best.

Looks like this appies to all 3rd and 4th gen Explorers. Thats 2002-2010 model years. I thought this video might help.
