Looks great! So it is the actual face that gives the guages their color. Your stock face color was the platinum with green illumination and the new white one has blue illumination. Is that right?? Or are your guages and AC panel faces indiglo?

Yes, the new front is just a glorified plastic sticker. The area that lights up in just a colorized translusent area. The parts that do not light up are blocked by a foil like layer cut to the design of the image. No indaglo at all just light bulbs through the color translusent areas.

Just peel and stick.

I think I will try to find reverse indaglo to match the new panel for my speed and tach.

Ok, I'll bite. Where and how much? The green HVAC controls don't match my indiglo guages very well.

I got the green one from a 01 sport trac in my truck with gray paneling. i thought the 01 sport already had it with the gray panel look? To match the 01 guages?

It was grey. I wanted the white to match the speed guages. I love it and it gets a lot of attention.

Remember how the knobs were still the Green Stock color. I found that a 98 Mustang my buddie just totaled has blue color knobs that match my new face. So I swaped him out and it looks great.

Okay, run this by me again (it's the blonde hair, I'm sorry)-

Are the original gauges in the pic aluminum? If so, did they come that way or did you pull them off of something?

The reason I ask is that my new gauges will be silvery and I'd like to have an AC panel to match , but it has to have green lettering....

Sorry, I haven't been checking my threads. The silver one was the stock on from my 01 Sport. You can find them on Ebay or go to truck shops on line. I only paid 25 bucks for mine.

ya, but your gonna need a new temp sender. and your gonna need to swap odometers, i did it. it was worth it i guess. I paid 150 for mine w/ac panel. that was a good find. look around
