I have been considering getting one when I get my strobes in my clear corners. I already have wig wags, so the police interceptor thing would be pretty cool.
Don't worry, guys, I only use them when parked, NEVER to impersonate a cop.
I would love to get some of those for my X. The cops would probably think mine was an unmarked car, because every township around me has atleast on explorer, some even have a few.
Mine has had it for years under my Ford oval. Its not illegal at all, it goes well with my dash strobes. I get questions about it all the time. And no Im not representing something that I dont have, my Explorer lights up like a Christmas tree and its all legal
I hate to burst your bubble, But that guy is right, It is definately ILLEGAL to have that on your vehicle. You may not get into any trouble, or have not yet, but it is Not legal and they can make you remove it.
Please explain how having a badge designation is illegal?? You are not mocking a law official in any fashion. The Police Interceptor badge is nothing more than a trim level for law enforcement vehicles containing a beefier engine, and components.
