Need a 4 button for my 2002 XLT, I can 4 Chinese fobs for $11 vs 1 OEM for $40, do the Chinese ones work or problems?

Generally, you get what you pay for. They may work, but for how long? How can 4 fobs for $11 be anything but junk?

I purchased two fobs from Amazon in mid 2018, they've been working fine.

Well, it's 20 year old technology, and like most stuff that old it's relatively simple to clone it now for pennies.

I have bought many inexpensive (assuming they were made in China) key fobs over the years off ebay and never had a problem with any of them. In fact, they all went with the vehicle when I got rid of it. I bought four for my 2010 Mountaineer and after 1.5 years have had no issues with them.
