Chip...Good or Bad

Ive heard alot about these chips some good some bad. Besides the fact that they increase performance ive heard that all they do is make your engine rev higher and that they are bad for your engine. I was wondering if this was true. Thanks

They are not bad for your engine at all, your revs are higher but everything else is higher due to the reworking of your engine curve. Chips make your engine run optimally and will typically result in better gas mileage as well as HP, the only difference being is that on some you must run premium gas.
