Chips and 87 octane fuel?

When matched with the t-stat, it runs cooler, Gas milage increase, more power in the mid to higher RPM ranges, NO ping or rattle...I'm very happy with the chip, and install only took a couple of minutes..Been running it for well over a year now, no problems yet..

the info that came with my Jet chip recomended higher octane fuel. i have used 87 with no adverse effects. 93 octane gives a little better responce and mpg's. i have seen the same results as mdrut in the mid to higher rpm's. also the shift points are a bit different and firmer, but not much....anything was better that the way it was though!
