The cigarrett lighter is on the console - it doesn't work every time I insert a device in it to use it. Is there a video or verbage on how to replace it?

Thank you -

Most Explorers don't come with a cigarette lighter. Those that did, they're called cigar lighters. (Don't ask me, ask Ford.)
Now, most/all come with two power ports. Console 1 power port and console 2 power port.
Both in the main center console. One upfront and one for the second row.

Those might be better terms.

I'd start with testing the wires themselves where they connect to the power port itself. See if any power is coming in.

Of course, do this after you've verified the fuse isn't popped.

Edit: they are held in place by plastic tabs. You'll need to pop the console cover off to gain access. One screw and some upward force for the front.
