I was plugging in my phone charger a few weeks back and my cigarrette lighter pushed back into the stereo system and fell through. I can still see it, but I have not attempted to take the cover off of my system because I don't feel confident in my ability to put it back on.

Is this something that I will need to completely replace? Or should it go back on if I just take the cover off of my stereo system?

remove the stereo face

hey dont worry taking off the stereo bezel is super easy just 2 hex head screws under the stereo face under the lip above the a/c vent nobs take those out and the whole blck plastic peice comes off and its pretty open behind there

There is usually a large hex-nut holding the cigarette lighter assembly into the dash, it probably just loosened up and backed itself off.

consider yourself lucky. one time my brother knocked one in on my friends camaro while the lighter was lit and it melted a bunch of stuff.

Thanks for the help! I'll pull the face off of my stereo tomorrow when I have a chance.

Ouch, bad news about the Camaro :(
