NONE - THANK GOD!
Quick question, I just got the Ex back from getting both front and rear timing chains and tensioners replaced, along with the M0012 TSB also. Extended warranties are nice.

The startup noises are gone now, thank goodness. HOWEVER the rhythmic clack noise that was present is still there...

Since the other chains and tensioners have been replaced, could I be looking at the oil pump drive chain or oil pump? Pressure reads OK according to dash gauge..

Does the oil pump drive chain have a tensioner? How common to fail?

83k on the v-6 SOHC.. 2000 Ex

thank you for any thoughts.

Do you notice it at cetain speeds? Is it present when stopped/park/neutral?

Noticeable so far only at warm/hot idle.. Was just thinking that by process of elimination, (with new timing chains/tensioners) that the oil pump/chain/tensioner? would be the likely candidate. Reason being that it seems to be underneath the vehicle. Does not do it all the time at warm/hot idle either.

I ask about speed b/c i was thinking cv/driveshaft, but not at idle/stop. Poss. chain, though...
