Could anyone circle the parts I need to cover while washing my engine? I want to de-grease the hell out of it and powerwash it. What is the best de-greaser to use?

Don't be a wuss, power wash everything!;)

A local detail shop will stem clean the engine for ~$25. Much easier on the electrical components, cleans very well, and generally worth the money and saved time!

Coil block (what Redrig circled), alternator, air intake and PCM, everything else is pretty much fair game I think...just be careful around anything that is a fluid fill port.

If you're going to use one of those power washers...be careful no to go ripping stuff out with it. I don't know if those vacuum lines will stand a good shot with one.

I was playing with one I just bought, and cut myself- that- ***** is strong! :D

Sometimes my stupidity amazes me!

try to minimize water usage, or you could be in for some headaches

I Just cleaned mine, best trick is to do it in warm weather, and make sure you let it sit overnight withthe hood up before trying to start it. This will let all the excess water evaporate. Be careful of the insulation under the hood, I tore mine up on accident this way.

I have only cleaned my engine once...

I only had to. It doesn't get dirty very quickly.

I used a regular hose with a typical gun-attachment.

The only product that I have had an oppurtunity to use is the Castrol-brand degreaser. It works very well. just follow the directions, and have at her.
