Cleaning cone filter after wheeling?

What should I do after I've gone through some big water holes and gotten the truck just generally dirty? I lightly hosed the filter down with water to get any dirt of (and then dried it good), but do I need to apply any of the cleaner stuff to it?

I would definately clean the air filter according to the
instructions that came with your filter.
Hopefully you ran water through the filter from inside
out, thats the way K&N recommends proper flushing of
the filter, provided you sprayed it down with the cleaning solution first.
After that, let it dry completely and reapply the filter oil.
