This may have been answered before but I can not find it. I have a recently purchased 2004 EB with 35k miles. No transmission issues which i have heard of in here. The other day I heard a clicking/buzzing sound almost like a real faint playing card clicking in bicycle spoke sound which appeared to becoming from the drivers side floor board/firewall area on acceleration from say 1000 to 2500 rpm, let off gas or speed up and it goes away. Have not pinpointed it if it is a hot or cold engine or outside temperature issue yet. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have the same thing, seems to come around 45 mph. If I ease up on the gas it goes away, speed up it goes away? Anybody know what it is?

I still have it and can't pinpoint it....

Going to revive an old thread that I forgot about, but beheivjer what was the fix?

I had something similar, but mine sounded more like an electronic buzz, which I could get to go away by letting up on the gas, or pressing harder. Mine went away after the dealer replaced the brake master cylinder under warranty because my brakes sucked.

Do you know what they did to fix the buzzing sound, it sounds like the same issue that I'm having.

ttt....

sorry this took so long. I finally found the info from the service visit.
I didn't even take it in for the noise, I figgured they'd never be able to fix it since it was so intermitant and hard to repeat on demand.

my complaint was for spongy brakes, and the tech wrote ' replace bypassing brake master cylinder'

after this repair, I've not heard the noise again, I used to hear it two or three times a week, and it's been nearly 6 months since the repair.

My guess is the vacuum system used to boost the brakes somehow leaks by occasionally on a bad master cylinder, which is why you hear the noise, and it can be varied by what you do with the throttle, which varies the amount of vacuum- of course this is only a guess.
