I drove my truck into a small ditch and decided I would try to back out rather than try and go through it. I put in in Low and tried to back up. It then made a fast clicking sound. I put in in drive and it drove through the ditch fine. I drove it in low for a while but it didn't click anymore. My guess is that the chain in the t-case was probobly slipping. My truck is still under warranty and if its the t-case I will have a new one put in. Any one have similar problems? I have a 1996 Xlt 4.0 with the auto. Do they come with just one t-case, and is there one I can upgrade to?
