a friend of mine has a 91 explorer and when he shifted (ok pushed the button) for 4x4 it went into low range and is stuck there.
we tried tapping on the t-case motor, no luck. fuse for the 4x4 controls is good. also disconnected the battery for about 30 min since i saw that suggestion somewhere.
he's checking on a new dash switch , which someone else told him is the problem.
i tend to agree it's either that or the module.
been awhile since i worked on something like this, used to have a 88 ranger so any ideas to refresh my memory would be great.
thanks guys
