I replaced my radius arm today. I went for a test drive and didn't notice anything. I just got back from running an errand and my clunk is back. It happens at random moments when straightening out from a sharp turn at a low speed. The radius arm bottom hole was a little rounded. I also noticed the stabilizer bar bracket's bottom hole is rounded. I'm wondering if that could be my problem? It doesn't seem to make sense, since that bracket doesn't move. I've got new RA bushings on, taken off the sway bar, new ball joints, and new tie rod ends, none of which fixed the problem. I'm guessing next I'll try the inner tierod, if the bracket isn't a possibility. Anybody know? Thanks!

Do you hear it when you are braking? Like once you stop and you are "shifting back" after the braking - do you hear it then? That's a good indication of a tie rod (inner or outter) problem.

Nope, though coming to a stop at a steep incline does it.

It's hard to determine where the sound is coming from, or any suspension noise, usually. I think I MIGHT know what it is. It started right after my lift. Under a mile on my first drive I noticed the clunk. Now, what I think it is: I read there's a sleeve that goes in the middle of the shackle, inside a bushing. Well.. I NEVER PUT THAT THING BACK IN! I bought the shackles used so I just used the factory hardware. Anybody think I found the problem? Now I need to track down these parts, which I hear is hard.

EDIT: Nevermind, I don't know what the **** I'm talking aboot. Pulled a shackle and notice nothing odd.

I would turn your stereo up and forget about it. Mine did it the whole time I had the TTB in it. I even had extender arms. Mine liked to do it when I was backing up and turning and hit the brakes. I tried to figure it out for months, then I just decided it was the coils seating and I learned to live with it. My new Solid axle doesn't do it
