When I back out of a parking space and move forward, after about 10 feet I hear a clunk under where the front passenger has their feet.

Ford said it was the torsion bar preloading and adjusted it. This did not work. They then said it was bad rivots in the rear and reinforced them with bolts. This also did not work. The clunking occurs 1 out of 5 times I drive.

Any suggestions of the cause and a solution?

My X does the same, but I have a full torsion twist, not recomended, just till I figure out a way to extend my steering columnto to get a 3" body lift....

No answer sorry, but I'm dealing with it, I will go later to the shop to let them know.....
