Welcome to this forum! Spin the fan. It should not continue to spin. This would indicate that the fan clutch is bad.

My fan does spin, but it stops when I stop moving it. Is this also a bad clutch and it isn't doing i t's job?

i'm sorta in the same boat, and I decided to go electric, 1 pull fan on the inside of the rad, have yet to install it, lol new fan clutch and fan is just about the same price as a new electric. as well gives you room for that air box mod in another post.

do check your sensors b4 throwing money into parts you may not need.
