I have just installed a new master cylinder in my truck and i have run into a HUGE problem. The rod that connects the cylinder to the pedal pops off when the pedal is depressed. :fire: It looks like the cylinder is on to much of an angle through the fire wall. The cylinder is installed properly and all the bolts line up. Have any of you ever herd of an after market cylinder not fitting? The Cylinder is made by LUK.

Thats weird are you sure you have everything assembled correctly? Do you have the retaining clip that holds the piston onto the pedal? And are you sure it's the right one for your truck? Luk makes the clutches and related parts for ford so you shouldnt have any issues fitting it.

Yeah I just figured out what i did I bought the part for a 91 and the truck is a 92. Damn that was dumb.
