Hi All,
I used to be a member of this forum long ago and have since returned with a b3000 that seems to eat clutch master cylinders.

So far I've replaced it twice since I've gotten the vehicle, and each time it last about six months, then just goes soft in the space of a week. I'm about ready to just swap the darn thing over to an auto. The slave cylinder is new and isn't leaking. The fluid is black as night.

I could really use some insight into what is happening, i'm not made of master cylinders!

Thanks in advance!

Black fluid suggests it is dissolving the seals. What fluid exactly are you putting in it? What brand of master are you putting in?
