Howdy.. I have a 91 Explorer XLT, with the Mazda 5-speed tranny, does anyone know where I can find a performance clutch? I'm really sick of the regular hydrolic clutch it came stock with and she's about to undergo alot of performance changes.

I plan to drop her a couple inches and re-do my cold air intake (yes, shes a 91 with cold air). I just dont think the stock air hose allows enough flow and the filter itself needs to be re-located. Either way I plan to have all that done by my birthday (May 2) which is the day she will make here debut run on the 1/4 mile in Gillam LA

yeah, she's a street racer, nicknamed by the street racers "The 5,000 Pound Brick", its funny when I challenge someone, but its even funnier after I beat them when they ask if I have a v8 due to the fact I just have the stock 4.0 OHV. Either way if you have any tips on clutches or re-location of my air intake, feel free to educate me.. Thanks

summit racing or anyone that carries the center force stage II. That is a sweet clutch I had it in my Bronco II.

I run a Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch in my white truck and that sucker hooks up. The Dual Friction is not that much more than a stock replacement clutch so might as well go high performance with it. I'm running that clutch with a newly installed 3.73 Limited slip rear end and the wide ass pirellis and my problem now is that I don't have enough power. When you drop the clutch I'll bog for a second because of all the traction and hook up I get, so I have to slip the clutch a bit to get a baddass take off.
