clutch, shifter, shift kit......any ideas?

I need to replace my clutch and want to replace the shifter and add in a shift kit at the same time. I have a 92 sport 5 speed. Anyone ever do this? What should I look for as far as replacement parts and such? Thanks.

I was just thinking, maybe I should purchase the parts I need then take it in to a shop and get the transmission overhauled at same time everything else being worked on. Otherwise will do it myself, haven't decided yet....

What shift kit are you looking at? I've only heard of shift kits for auto trannys.
