Cobra R's

Got a question for you guys. Will the 17 x 9 Cobra R's fit on a 4wd Explorer. I was wondering if the the auto hubs on the front would fit with those wheels. Thanks for the help guys.

I am 99.9% sure they will NOT. I have chrome cobra r's on my explorer and tried to put them on my 4x4 92 ranger with auot hubs... didnt work. Center of the rim is to small.-

I dont know about the first gen Explorers, but the second generation 4x4 is possible with the addition of the wheel spacers.

cobra rims

what up fellas. So it's true you can fit cobra(mustang) rims on explorers. I have a 97' eddie v-8 with awd. you mentioned i will need spacers. what kind? great looking exp. you've done well.

It is possible to fit them on to the early model Explorers with a wheel spacer but I am not too sure what size.
