Ok went to Auto Zone because my CEL came on the other day. I live in Pensacola, FL where Hurricane Ivan hit and all the gas that I could find was premium the other day. Well about 5 miles after I put the premium gas in, the CEL came on and it has not gone off. I went to Auto Zone and got them to pull the code. 0420 was the code, something about the Cat being below effeciency. I have been having a bounce in my idle for about 3 months now also, but the CEl did not come on until the other day after putting premium fuel in.
My question is, could this be the O2 sensors or anything with the EGR valve? Is there any way to try to Isolate the problem, and hopefully it will not be my CAT.
